Lauren:
I realize I haven’t written to you since mom came home. Work is very busy for me especially since I need to design a project by December and I sill need to do some field work before winter hits. We have had more rain lately than we had all summer.
I agree with mom that it scares us when you walk home alone late at night in Spain. Have you taken any precautions so it does not happen again! Mom doesn’t agree with me but I think there is no reason to go out after the night meal which you say is around 9:00 pm especially if you are out alone. Enough about that!
Adar sprained her ankle again Monday in volleyball and it was really hurting that night. She stayed home for the morning session. We borrowed some crutches from Jay and she used them for Tuesday but I think she is going without them now. They had a training session on Tuesday morning in which they evacuated the high school that Adar missed. She would have had a tough time with the evacuation on crutches. She was a little upset that she missed it.
Not sure if I told you but Green River won their home coming football game against Cheyenne East last Friday which was somewhat of an upset. I was there cheering for you. This Friday they play Casper Kelly Walsh (4 wins &1 loss record) in Green River which would be an upset also if Green river wins. I’ll be there to watch the game as usual.
I took Classie to the vet for the wound on his leg. I have been giving him penicillin but only have to clean the wound and re_bandage (wrap bandage) once a week which was much better than twice a day. The last time I saw the wound it was looking much improved. I will change it again this Saturday.
Well I just got a phone call from Adar to go pick her up so I better close. I assume we won’t hear from you until Monday because you are probably on an excursion somewhere. What a life you have!
